Hyoshigi by Paquió

Hyoshigi is a traditional Japanese percussion instrument and is used to open kamishibai narratives, traditional theater performances, sumo wrestling, and other performances.

The sharp, bright and piercing sound rich in harmonics makes the opening of every kamishibai performance something special. They are usually hit once or repeatedly, first slowly then faster and faster.

This hyoshigi is made of Paquio,  It is a native wood of Latin America of extraordinary hardness, for  what special tools are required for your job.

This generates a percussion instrument with  a beautiful sound,  shock resistant and wear resistant.

The rope that connects them, serves to hang the hyoshigi around the neck (in the traditional way) and comes with it.
